Michaela Ann Doss, 59, passed away March 10th, 2014 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Michaela was born on August 27th, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska. Michaela graduated from Wichita West High School in Wichita, Kansas. She was a real estate agent with Churchill Brown for the past 16 years. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald Doss; two children Benjamin Doss, Lauren Sexton and husband, Nate and one grandson, Caden who was very dear to her heart and the light of her life, as well as her mother, Shirley Sumption and two sisters, Janet K. Brown and Mary M. Pfenninger. Michaela is also survived by numerous family members and countless loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rukes, and a brother, John Rukes. Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Smith & Kernke funeral home. Funeral services were held at the Putnam City Baptist Church on Friday, March 14th at 11 a.m., follow by interment at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.
