Director of Plant Operations for 30 years, Rhatigan Student Center at WSU, passed away peacefully in the care of his family, February 17, 2020. Don was an avid outdoors-man, Eagle Scout, lover of bourbon and the Blues. Don is survived by his son, Craig Donovan Burris, Kevin Siess. His boys, Zach Ferris, Ebony Simon and loving sisters, Jill Lee and Kim Reed and their caring devoted families. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Cochran Mortuary, 1411 N. Broadway. A wake will be held after funeral services are complete at Wheat State Distillery, 1635 E. 37th Street North Suite, Wichita, KS 67219 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please endorse all donations to South Central Kansas Cactus and Succulents in care Cochran Mortuary & Crematory.
