Janet Lee Howard, lovingly known to her family and friends as "Jan," peacefully passed away at the age of 70 in Wichita, Kansas on February 22, 2024. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on February 10, 1954, to her late parents Thaddeus Holden and Ethel Gosche. Janet is survived by her beloved children Lamont, Fabian, Ardell Herndon, and Yukie Tisdale, as well as 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Throughout her life, Janet was known for her fierce devotion to her family and her unwavering love and support for her children and grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting their needs above her own.

Janet's warm and caring nature extended beyond her family, as she was known for her kindness and generosity in her community. She touched the lives of many with her selflessness and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

In her free time, Janet enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones. She had a green thumb and could often be found tending to her beautiful garden, which brought her so much joy and satisfaction.
