Henry Figures Henderson was a City of Wichita Parks Department Supervisor for many years.

At West, Henry excelled in sports from 1971 to 1973 placing at State every year. In 1972, Henry was on the 1st place Kansas State Champion Track Team. As part of this team, he, Steve Maloney, Willie Bell, and Bob Aitken placed 1st in the State Boys Medley Relay. 880 Relay. Additionally, Henry placed 3rd in the Boys 440 Yard Dash. 

In 1973, at the Kansas Relays, representing West High, Henry was on the both the 1st place 440 Yard Relay team (43.5) and the 1st place 880 Yard Relay team (1:30.5) with Richard Mathews, Willie Bell, and Reggie Jarre. 

Also in 1973, Henry was the Kansas State Wrestling Champion in his weight class of 138 pounds.
