What have you been up to since you graduated?

My career was in office administration.
Fun facts about my career…worked at KAKE TV in the accounting department but as a fun side duty I was also Do Bee with Ms. Marti.
I then worked at KFDI radio as Office Manager/Executive Administrative Assistant for Mike Lynch (President) and Ol’ Mike Oatman (Vice President & CEO). Loved my time at KFDI - met many country music stars, attended many concerts and traveled to other locations where Great Empire Broadcasting had country music stations. A very exciting job indeed!
I am now retired and doing some traveling with my husband, John. I was afraid I would be bored but it has turned out to be quite the opposite.
Loving life!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Cook, read, decorate and love getting together with friends and family!

What did you think you would do when you finished high school and what did you actually do?

I wanted to be an administrative assistant and accomplished that. However, in retrospect I should have been a chef or an interior designer. I didn’t aim high enough!

What is the biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at West?

Would not allow myself to be bullied!
I would be more outgoing and less shy.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

I want to see New York City. My husband, John, does not want to go. He’s been before and not interested in going back. So I’m looking for some traveling companions.

Any words of wisdom?

Treat others as you would like to be treated tho it’s getting harder & harder to do so.
Live today as if it were your last. You never know, it could be.
