I remember, shortly after finishing driving lessons, Ken pulled up in front of my house and said, “Mark, you look like an old grandpa driving down the road with both of your hands on the steering wheel. Let me show you how to look cool when you’re driving!” He then proceeded to show me how to have my left elbow resting on the door, with left hand on the roof, and right hand on the steering wheel at 12 o’clock! I have to admit, now that I AM a grandpa, I have returned to putting my hands at the old “10 and 2” positions on the steering wheel, but I still use Ken’s “cool driver” position when driving my ’73 Charger, which I restored back in 2010. Thanks, Ken!
