Majored in art at Ft Hays State University, ceramics and painting. Moved to Ft Myers, FL in 1980. Spent the next 7 years or so raising our daughters and then set up my studio- have been a full time artist since. I have been an artist/owner with the Tower Gallery on Sanibel Island for 30 years now and have been a part of many galleries, museum shows, and invitational shows around the US. Art has been a huge part of my life and an interest that my husband shares with me.
We have 4 grandchildren that live within a mile of us, so we are very involved grandparents!

Perry and I visit Asheville, NC as often as we can. We love the art, music and mountains. Fortunately there is an airline that we can take a nonstop flight and be there in an hour and a half!

I moved to Wichita the summer before my jr year from a small town in Virginia where I knew everybody and everybody knew me. I never thought of myself as shy until I started West High, but I certainly did become that way! The school was about the population of my town. If I could do it over again, I would accept an invitation to go meet some people that I turned down that summer and I could have made friends, but I didn't. It turned out ok, just took a while :)
